11-2, 14-3, 12-2. Three sweet slaughters! Guess that home field advantage they so desperately wanted really paid off. Haha, that's what they get. I'm busting, I'M BUSTING!!! If there was ever a time for the 'Stros to win the whole fuckin thing, it'd be now.

They can get some serious post-season batting practice in against Rick (Gopher Ball) Porcello, MLB leader in losses, hits allowed and HRs allowed.

We fans know the agony of defeat. I take you back to 1986. I'm sure you remember it well. I know Keith Hernandez does.

They are gonna pull that Green Monster down onto their little field ... pop out the scoreboard numbers, and suffocate them. You remember that defeat in '86? That was nothing.

John Farrell? Sandy Leon? Me, either. Bring on the Astros-Dodgers World Series.

Boys boys! But that was a close one. I was totally expecting to go into extra innings or something else last second. But yeah, I don't call sweeps or big wins cause it always bites me in the ass. Whenever I talk trash before, or especially during, a game, or a fight the team/fighter I shit talk always wins. In fact I may be solely responsible for your Pats' comeback win against the Falcons because I posted a meme on Facebook during the game, and I NEVER post memes! Life's a trip, carnal!

Red Sox clinch the A.L. East. Now they get to play the Astros all over again. Will John Farrell stupidly start Chris Sale tomorrow in a meaningless game or will he act like a real manager and save him for game 1 of the playoffs?

Look at that physique on Yogi. He must have been hitting the weights that season. And he's almost as tall as the Mick.

I don't care how long ago this was, 50 cents for a "tee" shirt? Sounds kinda flimsy.

Fun Fact: Red Sox and Astros first team in 26 years to close out the season against each other and immediately start a playoff against each other (Minnesota-Toronto 1991)

Doesn't matter. Even if some miracle happens and Boston gets past Houston, there's no way they beat Cleveland or even the Yankees.

BOYS, BOYS!
I'm looking forward to this series though. And I also want them to keep Verlander off the field and keep him fresh, as well as Keuchel......and Altuve......and Correa......and Reddick.....and Gonzalez.......Hmmm.

They never do anything against him. That's one win guaranteed right there.

I see Farrell is sending Hector Velasquez to finish the regular season to save Sale for Game 1. Then he goes with (I assume) Porcello (loss), Rodriguez (probably a loss) and Pomeranz (50% shot at a win)

I got Houston-L.A. in the World Series, but Cleveland could get there instead of the Astros. I'd love to see a Rockies-Twins WS, but doubt it would happen. FOX would crap their pants.

All I'll say is that the Yankees (grrr!) seem to have momentum going into the postseason; the Red Sox are stumbling into it. Have the Dodgers shaken off their late-season losing streak?
Yeah, your dream WS matchup would be fun, just for the reason you mentioned.

If somehow, the Yankees faced Boston in the A.L. playoffs, my money is on NY.

He's been using Blake Swihart, a catcher, who has a bum ankle, as a pinch-runner. Methinks. No. Mehopes that if the Sox get blown out in the first round, Farrell gets canned. He's not doing Gary Fogel a second time. Your cancer won't save your job again. You bad manager. You veddy bad manager.
