Caddyshack IIFletch Lives Big Top Pee-wee Saturday The 14th Wiseguys My Blue Heaven This is the one I saw first. I cannot be blamed for liking this about the same as the original because of: (a) my parents having HBO and almost never going out to the movies, and (b) the HBO policy on R-rated movies airing after 8pm.

This might be the ultimate guilty pleasure movie for a heterosexual male. Pretty sure Jennifer Connolly was my first celebrity crush. I have this movie on DVD, she was my first early boner.... Actually the only funny moment is that scene with John Candy...The movie is lame, but damn those boobs makes up for the no laughter...

Look at Jennifer Connolly today. Not boner material any longer.

"Bringing Down the House" I saw this movie on a free premiere pass and I felt I got really ripped off!

I think a few of you guys do not know the definition of "guilty pleasure" movies. A popular movie like "This is Spınal Tap" cannot fall under the banner of a guilty pleasure. You need to pick a bad movie that most people/critics hated when it was screened. Like "Ishtar," which I love. (By the way, I just screened "Tap" for a neighbour who had never seen it and she loved it too.) Preach it! I was perplexed with some of the answers as well. Enough Said is an AMAZING movie that got a ton of critical acclaim. It is one of the best films I have seen in the past 5 years. No way is that a guilty pleasure. But, it does seem like maybe they just weren't initially quite sure what "guilty pleasure" meant. Some of mine? Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie, which rules) Problem Child 1/2 (that little bastard kid is hilarious) Rookie of the Year City Slickers 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday The Odd Couple 2 (not a fan of the first film, but really liked the second for some reason. I guess I found really old Lemmon and Matthau funnier) -There are others I was too embarrassed to even put on this list. "Enough Said" was the best thing JLD did since "Seinfeld," including "VEEP." "Problem Child" reeked of trying too hard. I bought a double DVD of the two "City Slickers" years ago and I saw both in the cinema. I have yet to watch the sequel on the DVD, but it's probably a good COVID-19 time-waster. Finally saw "The Odd Couple 2" and it wasn't as bad as the reviews said.

I’m pleasantly surprised you watched all these! Enough Said is seriously one of my favorite films of all time. Since it came out I’ve seen it probably 8-10 times. I adore that film. It is beautiful. Problem Child 1 and 2 came out when I was still a kid, so though part of it being a guilt pleasure is sentimental, I still say Junior Healy is a hilarious shit ass. I watched them a handful of years ago and still cracked up. I liked the second a little more than the first though. City Slickers 2 is more straight comedy, not dramedy like the first one. And I got two words for you: Jon Lovitz. He takes over for Bruno Kirby in the second one playing Crystal’s brother. He’s real funny in it imo. The Odd Couple 2 rules! Great Lemmon/Matthau film! If someone likes the Grumpy Old Men series, they should like it. Underrated.

Fine, I’ll say it, Cool As Ice, starring Vanilla Ice. Get super stoned, expect the worst, and you will be entranced by the wonderful awfulness of this film. This film is my, personal “Plan 9 From Outer Space”.

We tried "Plan 9" as a goof at least ten years ago, but after half an hour, we turned it off. I guess neither of us was in THAT mood. I wonder if MST3K ever did "Plan 9." That, I would watch.

How about "Quiz Show" (1994)? You like that one, K.K.? Don't you love the way Herbie Stempel refers to Charles Van Doren as "Charles Van Moron"? You really feel it.
