This thread is making me nostalgic. I might have to stay in this Saturday and watch The Smurfs while eating a big bowl of Frosted Flakes. No flakes. Just puffs. Never was a fan of puffy cereals. Wait, there's one - Kellogg's Eggo cereal. It's an orgiastic feast for the senses.

A few more of my early TV memories: Ted Mack's Original Amateur Hour - a predecessor to Star Search, The Gong Show, American Idol, etc. The 20th Century - a documentary show about historical events, hosted by Walter Cronkite Learn to Draw - hosted by artist Jon Gnagy, a predecessor to Bob Ross, who demonstrated drawing techniques Super Circus - a show of circus acts, hosted by Claude Kirchner
Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom - with the original host Marlin Perkins Mary Hartline. Va-va-voom! I used to get seizures listening to Mary Hartline's voice. But then again, I had seizures listening to Marlin Perkins.

That could be a poll! Pop's new pseudonym when he returns: Poopactor? Popcracker? Topactor? LobotomyBoy?

One memory I'm not proud of: I came home from school and the cable was out, and I always used to watch 'The Fantastic Four' animated series when I got home. I threw a fit. Crying and bawling like a little bastard. My dad happened to be home and was scrambling around, trying to fix the TV, trying to get a signal, trying to pacify me, trying to do something! Not proud of that. He deserves a card on father's day.
