Then it's not just me!
Haven't seen it yet, but recently watched The People vs. OJ Simpson... really well done, plus some Seinfeld references to boot!

He wasn't adopted by any chance?. Because apparently, adoption leads to serial killing.

There's another way serial killing can go down, and it's going down right now!

Yeah, I enjoyed that too, good insight into the trial. Would of preferred a different actor for O.J though, I like Cuba, he just didn't seem right in the role. Definitely recommend the Made in America documentary, covers everything from O.J's childhood up to present day. It also explains the racial unrest in L.A at that time which went a long way for me to understanding why he had so much support from the black community.

I'm also watching The People vs. OJ Simpson (haven't gotten around to OJ: Made in America yet). I agree with you and many others about Cuba Gooding Jr., Hawkeye - it hurts the series when the fictitious OJ is rather unlikeable, and physically unimposing. Before its IMDb board got shut down, someone suggested that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson would've been a better lead, and I agree. Both OJ and The Rock have that disarming charisma and smile - plus, I think The Rock can pull off the morose look. Anyway, as far as the murder trial, I suggest Googling "Murder of Michael Nigg". It made me rethink my opinion that OJ was guilty of the murders. One aspect that always bothered me was the brutality in which Nicole Brown Simpson was killed. It's one thing to assault a woman during an argument, but to almost decapitate her sounds like the work of a professional, one that didn't have time to finish the job.

All the evidence is there. I don't go in for this 'conspiracy theory' garbage. It has taken hold again with that 'Making a Murderer,' crap.

I like that he wanted to take the role, but obviously he couldn't entirely get into it. On another note, I laughed so hard when Robert Kartrashian is telling his daughters not to take the easy road to fame. Ha!

I saw the first installment of "The People vs OJ Simpson" and then they took it off our OnDemand, so I guess I need to get it off Pirate Bay or something.

"Being a good person is more important than being famous."
Whether the outing or conversation actually occurred is irrelevant. Those fame whores (yeah, I said it) didn't take the message to heart.

Has anyone heard if they're going to do any more series like this, on other famous court cases?

Has anyone heard if they're going to do any more series like this, on other famous court cases? They won't be court cases, but seasons two and three (both next year) will focus on Hurricane Katrina and the Andrew Cunanan case, respectively.

Finally finished the whole thing. People say Cuba was the wrong actor to portray O.J, but considering the role, he didn't really have all that much to do. It seemed to focus more on Marcia Clark's point of view. Cuba just sat around grimacing the whole time he was on screen.

It seemed to focus more on Marcia Clark's point of view. Cuba just sat around grimacing the whole time he was on screen. That was Cuba's plan to do as little as possible. He always looked annoyed. When you look annoyed all the time, people think that you're busy.
