The best way to wake up your brain and beat stress is by doing something called cyclic sighing.
Ever since I read this report I've been using this brain-breathing technique and I couldn't wait to share it with you.
So here's what a cyclic sigh is all about: I take one inhale through my nose……But just as I reach the peak, I stop and take another sharp inhale through my nose. Then, I release it with a long, slow, sighing exhale through my mouth until my lungs are completely empty.
And I do that cycle for about 5 minutes.
Dr. David Spiegel is a professor of behavioral sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. And he says taking a deep breath and then exhaling for twice as long, tells the body it’s time to relax. It stops the momentum of stress and anxiety.
And at that point your brain fog is gone and you're able to deal with challenges and stress more efficiently.
And in his research, every study participant who tried cyclic sighing felt happier and less anxious……because with the short, extra inhale and then breathing out twice as long as you breathe in, you slow your heart rate, lower your blood pressure, and even your digestion improves.
I've started doing this cyclic breathing before I host my radio show each day and even before my live concerts. It's amazing.

Tesh must really get aroused when he goes to get his mail or washes his car.

Could you do this underwater while soaking? Yes but it requires a ton of focus while visualizing the moon.

I initially read this as "Tesh berating tips". I figured it would be about how to deliver the perfect insult.

You finally exhaled after 13 hours? You can really hold your breath for a long time. Elaine: Powerful. He is so powerful, he can hold his breath for hours. And um, what else. What else. Oh, right. Um, well, he's kind of, just kind of losing his mind.
Cynthia: He's insane?
Elaine: No! No, no, no, he's not insane. He's insane-ing.
Cynthia: So he will be insane.
Elaine: Yup.

Breathe whilst tooting, too? Gas goes in one end whilst coming out the other. It's simple physics.
