I wish everybody would stop being so sensitive, I get the hot soup whenever I make jokes about gays, Arabs, boobs or Znep27...
It's comedy, today people are all uptight, I can't described a midget without calling him a midget!

The conversation started around 10 p.m. ...
That's way past my bedtime. And that's just when it started, mind you. The "conversation" lasted 90 minutes. So it broke up at 11:30. I'm just sayin'. Some people like to get their shuteye at a reasonable hour. You couldn't start the "conversation" at 8:00, Jerome?
Perhaps the ungodly evening start time for the talk helped Seinfeld ― a notoriously meticulous performer ― open up a bit more by channelling the potential for sleep-deprived delirium to speak off the cuff.
See? Even the person who wrote this article agrees with me. Meticulous performer. Is that a synonym for delicate genius?

No. In today's society, we must all sit silently and stare into space. Nobody can talk. There are no genders. There is no difference among people. We are all blobs.

Nope. Except for Jeremy Hillary Boob. He's still fair game.

Feel like it would behoove the writer to make it clear Jerry and Kramer were portrayed as acting offensively/insensitively when the show aired. Then again, i wouldn't be surprised if the writer didn't even watch the episode in full.

For all we know, the writer might find it offensive at face value, not realizing or caring about the context.

These people who say shit like "you could never do that today" have clearly never seen shows like Family Guy or South Park or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Seriously though, I can imagine Jerry saying those things proud that Seinfeld pushed the boundaries of polite society.
