Milwaukee? You think Laverne and Shirley ever had one of their calzones? How about Squiggy? Hank Aaron? I doubt Jeffrey Dahmer was into them. He was more of an eat-at-home guy.

So far I haven't found what I consider classic NY calzone here in Reno. I like a calzone that looks like this, the dough not heavy, and stuffed to the gills with ricotta cheese, like this: Cheese calzone, Nino's, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY

Look at the size of that calzone! That looks like a dog with a glove on his head! Um, an empanada with a weight problem. Hey, Delta, could you lend us a cigarette pack for scale?

That could be a bite size cream puff for all the scale the picture shows. Will someone give Nino some cigarettes?

nutsberryfarm ⛑ that looks intense! i'm now reminded of this hole in the wall in boston that had an awesome buffalo chicken calzone. Dipped it in a side of ranch dressing. Excellent drunk food (I was in college).

Jeffrey Dahmer made calzones with body parts... The body parts made them extra meaty. And savory.

I wonder if there is another guy named Jeffrey Dahmer in this world... Fred Dahmer's girlfriend, to him: How about changing your name to Jeffrey Dahmer? Wow! That is so cool!

went with a stromboli today! Guido won't make Stromboli because they don't keep as well after you take them home. I suppose they're fine if your party can finish them in the restaurant. Calzones rule!

Guido's is my favorite Italian restaurant with the best calzones. Unfortunately, since I swore off gluten, I can't get one there any more. Guido says, "No stromboli for you! Come back next year!"

Guido's seems more Italian than Spanish where the name is spelled Güido.

Guido's seems more Italian than Spanish where the name is spelled Güido. Not Guïdo? Use of the diaeresis in Spanish is very limited, only on the letter U between G and E or G and I. An interesting word is cigüeña, which means stork. Without the diaeresis the U would be silent as in Che Guevara, often mangled into Güevara by gringos.

Why would I put that diacritical mark over the "i" unless I was in mortal danger? I know it's against the law. I could get diaeresis poisoning and die. That's why!
