Let's all go live in Monowi, Nebraska. I think considering their population is 1, they could use us.

Never been to Utah that I can remember. I'd like to go to Salt Lake City, although I hear the water is quite salty.

I had lunch one day in Orla, Texas population 2. I got to meet both of them at the diner that was the only going business in town. How does a diner survive in such a small town? A lot of people live around the town, but not in it. Orla is an oil boom ghost town with a lot of empty buildings.

I can't imagine they commuted to another building, being the only people in town. Probably not even a "diner". More like a room attached to their kitchen. Best part about a town of 1 or 2, though, is that you can appoint yourself as mayor or anything else you want.

Their home was in the same building as the diner...a woman and her young son. Another source of business was the highway that runs through the town. I believe it connects Pecos, TX with Carlsbad, NM. ππππππ

The day I was in Orla, I also visited Mentone, county seat of nearby Loving County, TX. With only about 60 people, it's the least populated county in the US. While I was there, I met the sheriff and county assessor...same guy. I have a hunch he wore other hats too. π©ππ€ ππ₯³

Also Justice of the Peace and they issued driver's licenses. We've found Groverville!

Population-wise, the two smallest towns in Massachusetts are Gosnold (pop. 70) and Monroe (pop. 118). I would love to travel to one or both of these places, just out of curiosity. Just looked it up, Monroe is about 170 miles and over three hours away. I'll pass.
