It was the "whiffle", pizzabagel. All the players wore those whiffle haircuts.
And I'm praying for a "poor Lily" from baconeggandcheese.

1974: Cubs trade Billy Williams to Oakland for Manny Trillo, Bob Locker and Darold Knowles. Ironically, when the trio arrived in Chicago they didn't have a locker for... rhs: Bob Locker? No, Darold Knowles. I thought you were up on all this baseball trivia.

Go ahead, try to say it. TREE-O.

Mr. Kruger: Maybe it should be. Brillo pad: Oh, no. All (chanting): Bree-o! Bree-o! Bree-o! Brillo pad: Bree-o's gettin' upset!

Mexicans don't wash their pots and pans. (crowd boos and hisses) pizzabagel: Ooh, tough crowd.

Brothers from another father. This has the makings of a sitcom. Quick! To the piano for a theme song! Here's my admittedly rudimentary attempt at one. Meet David, who's played most everywhere, From the Boston Garden to Madison Square. But Al has only been between Seattle and Chavez Ravine. What a crazy pair!
But they're brothers, From another father all the way. One pair of different bookends, Different as night and day.
Where David adores a three-point shot, The old skyhook, and hoops a lot, Our Alfred loves to steal a base, A grand slam makes him yell hoorays! What a wild duet!
Still, they're brothers, From another father and so far, Their skills don't match, their games don't match, And furthermore their fames don't match. It must seem bizarre, When brothers are dissimilar.
