And all a team will need is one hot streak and they're in the post-season? Sounds like this was a plan dreamed up by the Orioles.

Oh, I don't think that's possible (that the Orioles will have a hot streak that will catapult them into the playoffs).

I've come up with a way to make the season more interesting. We'll use the (ugh) Orioles as an example. Here would be their schedule for week 1:

Sunday-Mets @ Baltimore
Monday-Baltimore @ Arizona
Tuesday-St. Louis @ Baltimore
Wednesday-Baltimore @ San Diego
Thursday-Atlanta @ Baltimore
Friday-Baltimore @ Seattle
Saturday-Cubs @ Baltimore
