I very much enjoyed Brendan Gleeson as Winston Churchill. I was blown away when I read his credits, because he was Hamish from Braveheart!
One more. I liked 'The Iron Lady." Here is the actor playing her young husband:
I had no idea it was:

John Hurt in The Elephant Man Gary Oldman in Hannibal Eddie Murphy in Coming To America (the barbershop guys, especially the old Jew) Charlize Theron in Monster Christian Bale in Machinist/American Hustle Matthew McConaughey in Dallas Buyer's Club Rooney Mara in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (American version)
I would say Robert De Niro in Raging Bull, but despite the 60lb weight gain, it's still pretty obvious that it's Robert De Niro.

Then you're out of luck, pal. She absolutely detests stocky. Hey pizzabagel, do me a solid will ya? Take me over to Charlize's house. I'll leave my hat there, then I'll have an excuse to pick it up later. When I go back, she'll instantly fall in love with me. On second thought, I don't have a hat. I'll have to leave my pants there instead.

It took me a while to realize that Pinto from Animal House was also Mozart in Amadeus.

I didn't recognize Mickey Rourke when I saw him in Buffalo 66. The last movie I saw him in was 6 or 7 years earlier, either White Sands or Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. Apparently, in the interim, he had gotten into boxing, and someone, or several people, beat the living shit out of his face. It looks like he has also had some plastic surgery done as well. With that being said, I think he is a good actor, who has made some shitty (and some good) movies.

Speaking of plastic surgery, has anyone seen Meg Ryan or Lara Flynn Boyle recently...?

It took me a while to realize that was Brad Renfro in Ghost World. His struggle with substance abuse was pretty apparent by that time. He died in relative obscurity a few years after playing Josh, from a heroin overdose. Sad since he was an incredible child actor.

When I first saw "Spinal Tap" at age 21 (1986) I had no idea that David St Hubbins (Michael McKean) was Lenny from Lenny & Squiggy ("Laverne & Shirley").
