The only one I remember is "Swan Song" with Johnny Cash. Pretty solid episode.

She's picked up so many tips for how to do it from "Murder She Wrote." Don't give us that innocent old lady act.

And this is the edited version. In the original cut, Nimoy tells Columbo to "Live long and prosper". Columbo drops his pants and says "Prosper this, you horse's ass".

I was going to get the complete series on DVD, but then I noticed "Simon and Simon: The Complete Series" was cheaper. Karma_Kramer: So you opted for that? Nah, I ordered "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini" and spent the remaining $170 on whisky.

"Holmes & Yoyo." It's an all-male version of "My Living Doll."

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Peter Falk yelling at Nimoy wasn't planned. I once read that, in later years, Nimoy had developed a bad habit of yelling at his co-stars in rehearsal in an effort to 'improve' their on-camera performance, and this was Falk's way of retaliating.

Ann B. Davis was like that, too. I heard she spit on Bob Cummings more than once and kicked Robert Reed in the groin. Stories like that have to be true.

Ironically, those people were all up for the role of Mr. Spock, but they all turned it down. Well, except for Ann B. Davis. She was actually on set ready to start filming but had to be let go because the pointed ears wouldn't fit.

She reportedly auditioned for the roles of Barney Fife, Howard Cunningham and Arnold Horshack. When she was turned down for them, she filed a discrimination suit alleging that she was not given the parts because she was a female. The judge wasn't convinced of this, in spite of having Ann B. disrobe for him in the judge's chambers. The case was thrown out of court.

I mean, he took a look at her goodies and obviously... ohhh.

Ah, you're speaking of the 'Michael Nesmith Rule', enacted after he got the Monkees gig. Also known as 'you fart, you're out' and the reason for the great Beano shortage sometime ago. That was a hot item on the black market for a while.

So Nez stocked up on beans when he planned to leave The Monkees? I always wondered how he got out of his contract. Mike: I've had it with this lame-ass project. I am so out of here [prrrrrrrrp] Peter: Why didn't you just walk away like I did? Was the fart necessary? Mike: No, but I had Texas barbecue last night [prrp]

You know, it just occured to me that Monk is like a latter-day, OCD version of Columbo. Discuss amongst yourselves.
