I'm no cricket expert, but if you "knock it out of the park" it counts as 6 runs. From Wikipedia:
The act of running is unnecessary if the batsman hits the ball to the marked boundary of the field. If the ball reaches the boundary having made contact with the ground, four runs are automatically added to the scores of both the batsman and the team. If the batsman succeeds in hitting the ball over the boundary on the full (i.e., the ball does not make contact with the ground until it is beyond the boundary), six runs are added.
Edited to add: being a bit of an anglophile, I've been intrigued by cricket, but have never watched it for more than a few minutes on TV or YouTube. I think like baseball you have to grow up with it to fully understand what's going on.

Why are they dressed like beekeepers? Maybe they don't wear enough protection! Cricket players die from injuries regularly, Phillip Hughes in 2014 is a recent one. You can see the fatal delivery heading for the unprotected area of his neck on the cover screen of the video. It hit an artery and actually broke it.

Favorite cricket term LBW leg before wicket Do I take it that's like our HBP (hit by pitch), although more specific?

Are you old enough to remember the day the music died? Answer: No, I was born too late to be aware of it. Although I was an infant when it happened.
Comments: That graphic is disturbing on so many levels. Also, don't the insects look more like grasshoppers than crickets?

Cricket, grasshopper.. What's the difference laddie? I think Ed Sullivan influenced the name. "You know, boys. You can't say "hopper" on network television. Why not call yourselves The Crickets? It's cute and it's family-friendly"
