How come we never see him use it? Or at least have one mention by the others about why he doesn't use it ever.

Seems like there was one scene where he was seen in the hallway bringing his bike back, but had stopped to talk to Kramer or just listen to some goings-on in Kramer's apartment.
Regardless, I wonder if the apartment set was intended to look like Seinfeld's actual apartment and if he really had a bike. Since it was NYC, whether he actually did or not is probably immaterial since I have no doubt many people there (and any large metropolitan area) ride a bike for real transportation as opposed to merely exercise.

It's a collectors' item once ridden by Gregory Peck.

It's a fixture in the apartment. It's what they call an amenity. It's standard in most NYC leases.

I picture Jerry more of a scooter guy. Well, not this kind but the kind you push with your feet. This shot is for when he posed for a publicity pic for his spinoff series, "Satirists on Scooters Getting Soda."

You just can't get enough scooter news.

Is that from the scene where Jerry's brain is talking to his penis?

There was a scene when the naked chick was working on a bike in the apartment, she was crouching and that's why he had a problem with it. Don't remember if it was his green bike or her own different one.

He rode that bike all the time. How do you think he maintained a "31" waist?

It's a collectors' item once ridden by Gregory Peck. If you look closely Barbra Mandrell's skateboard is hanging behind the bicycle as well.

TV Jerry doesn't ride bikes. He's a fancy boy. So he hails rickshaws to get around? Sweet!

Jerry: Green bike! Green bike! That's the green bike!
George: What are you talking about?
Jerry: You're riding my green bike!
George: I am? What a strange coincidence.
Jerry: Aha! Nice try, my friend, but you gotta get up pretty early in the morning.

Isn't it the same bike we see Kramer actually riding on in the opening scene of The Book Store when he takes full advantage of Jerry being out of the apartment all day?

I like how you can tell Jerry's sink is just a prop because you can see it move when Kramer pulls on the hose.

I wish I could get a poster of that James Rizzi print that Jerry has by his bathroom door. I've always thought that was cool.

I thought there was a scene where Jerry came back to the apartment with a bike while wearing a helmet. Must be from another show then
