Is there a Mrs. nuts? Someone he can pass the salt to? Has nuts ever said "pass the salt"? I can't recall. Let me put it this way. If they manufactured a nuts doll and it came with a string you pull to make it talk..."pass the salt" would be one of the sayings. He seemed to have put that one on the shelf, though.
