You gotta have strong choppers to keep the pipe in. That rules me out. This is a perfect business opportunity for Kramerica Industries. A retainer for pipes. Navin Johnson: We'll call it Pipe-o-grab. She didn't date much, did she?

She didn't date much, did she? Except for masochists. Pretty bad when a girl says "I do everything" and the guy comes back with "Uh, yeah. But I have to go home now. There's a rerun of 'Green Acres' I've been dying to see".

is that your collection>? I used to be a regular cigar smoker, but quit cold-turkey in 2014. They're not as safe as they once were with more carcinogens showing up in the leaves. I do smoke a pipe occasionally as it's still possible to get reasonably clean pipe tobacco. what's some good pipe tobacco?

You're jumping on the pipe-smoking bandwagon? Get yourself a corn cob pipe to start out. And have them leave the corn kernels on to show how unconventional you are.

They're cheap and usually easy to repair. I have two briars that my uncle made. He's 97 now and still puffing away.

rhs6358 - Your pic reminds me. He and my dad were fond of moon pies. Dad was oldest and passed in '91.

You can buy those Mac pipes on line for about $15. I don't have any. IMO, the stem is too high on the bowl.

IMO, the bowl itself is too darn deep. Shorten it, and that would fix your gripe with the pipe as well. Suggestion for a new thread: Pipe Gripes

They work well; just avoid being downwind of them. Doesn't really enhance the smoking experience all that much, either.
