Look what happened to Allan Sherman. On top of the world in 1964. By 1967, he was a has-been.

She's versatile like that. They made her play a cousin from the isles so that she could use expressions like "Oh, spit. I just polluted my knickers" and "Go fob yourself, wench".

Well, let me tell you I can do other things, like limericks, for example. There once was a Duke, name of Patty She had a bad rep being catty She played Helen Keller And not Clara Peller Nor anyone known as a fatty

Years later, maybe 1978 or so, I offered it to a used record store in a stack of albums. The owner said he wasn't interested. He told me "I don't think I've ever sold an Allan Sherman album".

I just looked for it and couldn't find my LP collection. Bleecker Bob offered me five bucks for it back in the 90s. I was so miffed I turned him down.
I believe I lost them in the 2018 flood. At the low point in my neighborhood the house also flooded in 2015. Am I worried about a 100-year flood? Nope! This year I hope to escape the three-year flood.

Living on a hill, I can say that flooding is probably the least of my worries. Fortunately.

Living on a hill, I can say that flooding is probably the least of my worries. Fortunately. Living at the foot of a hill that is 800 ft. higher than my neighborhood has been the biggest worry I have about living here. The county maintains drainage ditches on two sides of my property, the sides that are least vulnerable. Government doesn't have to do it right. They just have to do something. Right!

⛈🏠⛈ what about wild animals? coyotes? We have coyotes here in town. Those things are brutal. A number of people have had their pets attacked by coyotes.
